Palm OS Emulator from palmos.com is a great tool for developer on Palm software development. For a palm user like me, I use it to test drive every palm programs before I hot sync to my palm. So, if the palm programs having bugs and crash the emulator, all I need to do is restart the Palm Emulator and this gonna save my palm from “Hard Reset*”!
Just register as a developer, download Palm OS Emulator and ROM image. Save all settings into a profile so that you no need to setup the emulator again next time. To install a palm program, just drag and drop the file to the emulator window.
The Palm OS Emulator is software that emulates the hardware of various models of Palm Poweredâ„¢ handhelds. Since it allows you to create “virtual” handhelds on Windows, Mac OS, or Unix computers, the Palm OS Emulator is extremely valuable for writing, testing and debugging applications.
