LG Notebook With Fuel Cell Battery

By JohnW on Saturday, October 1st, 2005 in Announcement, Mobile Goodies.

LG Fuel Cell Battery

LG provide longer battery life for its laptops up to 10hrs of operations with methanol fuel cell technology.

    Quote:
A subsidiary of LG will be the first company to put a consumer fuel cell power source for laptops on the market. The unit is quite large, but it provides 10 hours of battery life, which is probably enough for it to find a niche. Each methanol cartridge is set to cost $1 and the base unit will cost around $500.

This product is environmentally friendly. This product was made by hand. This gorgeous piece is not a reproduction – it’s an original phone beautifully restored exclusively for UncommonGoods to transport you to a whole other era.

Completely restored by hand, fully tested and ready to plug into a modern phone jack, this model is a polished nickel and bronze Western Electric Company candlestick telephone from the 1920′s. The wiring, microphone and cord are all state of the art to ensure a crystal clear sound, and the phone is even complete with a classic clicking sound in place of a modern ring. GeekPod Power Your iPod For 100 Hours

By JohnW on Friday, September 23rd, 2005 in Mobile Goodies, Tech & Gadgets.

Geekpod 100hours Battery
Geekpod gives 100 hours of playback time for your iPod. It’s an external Li-ion battery pack that fit in your pocket. Others model available for laptops too.

Geekpod from batterygeek.net. It’s really just a li-on battery for your iPod. The draw is that it gets around 100 hours of battery life, which is really sweet if you’re gonna be away from home for awhile. It’s tiny too – the size of a deck of cards. It’s even got one of those LED indicators to tell you how much juice is left. Too bad it’s $99.95. I’d like to see it a little cheaper, in the $70.00 range.
