Football TV Remote Control

Train your soccer skills at home with this Football TV remote control by “kicking” the right control button.

A TV remote control in the shape & design of an England football (officially licenced by the FA) is a great starting point, but this little gizmo will also work with virtually all VCR‘s, DVD‘s and PS2‘s and has a IR range of 7.6m.

The final genius is that it is realistically padded meaning “pass the remote” can take on a whole new meaning! Also available in Manchester United style!
Football Tv Remote Control requires: 2 x AA batteries

PSP firmware downgrade from 2.0 to 1.5
Some people have been successfully downgrade the buggy PSP 2.0 firmware back to 1.5. Check it out below!

    Quote:
    PSP firmware downgrade:
Well if you haven’t heard by now there has been a hole found in the 2.0 firmware that allows you to run small portions of code. And with this hole some very clever people have made it possible for 2.0 PSP’s to be succesfully downgraded to 1.5. (SWEET!) This will then open up homebrew to you once again. I for one am going to try it out even though there is a slight chance of breaking the PSP. With this new exploit there will probably be a firmware 2.1 or something released with new features and a patch. (I won’t fall for it again though.)

Sony Aibo Are Blogger Too

By JohnW on Sunday, October 2nd, 2005 in Games and Toys, Tech & Gadgets.

Sony Aibo ERS7M3T
The Sony Aibo can read the RSS news from internet and blog its own diary too! A great news for bloggers! ;)

    Quote:
Sony’s robotic pup Aibo gives new meaning to the term newshound. In its latest evolution Aibo ERS-7M3/T has the ability for short-term memory mapping and news reads through a version of web syndication RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds. “With one simple voice command Aibo can read the morning’s headline news while its owner folds the laundry,” said Toshi Kawai, senior manager of Entertainment Robot America (ERA), a division of Sony Electronics in a prepared statement. The AIBO Net News reader capability enables the robot to read its owner news or weather from a choice of RSS feeds available on many websites.

Puppy also comes loaded with the AIBO Diary in case owners want to know what he is up to while they are out of the house. Aibo can take pictures and add notes on its daily activities to its diary. (Yes but what if he’s lying?) The diary can be shared by uploading entries directly to a blog site. The dog has its own blog now.

CSI The Board Game

By JohnW on Thursday, September 29th, 2005 in Fun Stuff, Games and Toys.

CSI The Board GameCBS’s prime time shows – CSI Series live at your desk! I’m always guessing the clue in the shows, but now I have a chance to “hands on” to get involve into the investigations and solving crimes puzzle…

CSI: The Board Game includes ten stories written in the style of the TV program, it’s a more complicated and involved version of the game and up 4 players can play. CSI Miami is the simpler of the two games, having less information and fewer crimes, but can be played by up to 6 players. Be thorough, use your skill and judgment – you have only one chance to present your case to Grissom. The first person to present the correct deductions to Grissom is the winner.
