GTC Pro Racing Cockpit

By JohnW on Saturday, September 24th, 2005 in Fun Stuff, Games and Toys, Tech & Gadgets.

GTC Pro Racing CockpitBoring or stress at works? Work could be more fun with the GTC Pro Racing Cockpit that’s convertible between an office chairs to a Pro racing cockpit.

Some of the most beautiful automobiles in history have come from the Turin area of Italy so it’s fitting that this quite innovative racing cockpit peripheral for PC and games platforms such as Sony’s PS2 should emanate from Turin-based design consultancy MoveTech. Nintendo Revolution Controller

The Nintendo Revolution Controller is a multi functions remote control and adding more fun to gaming as physically move the controller to take down your opponents without pressing a button. Tell your friends that I can finish you with one hand!

Two small sensors placed near the TV and a chip inside the controller track its position and orientation, allowing the player to manipulate the action on screen by physically moving the controller itself. For example, you could slash an in-game sword by actually swinging the controller from side to side, turn a race car just by twisting your wrist, or aim your gun in a shooter by pointing the controller where you want to fire.

Animatronic DJ
Animatronic DJ just wants to be your personal DJ’s. Just pump in the music and he’ll start his “job” to serve you!

Connect any music source with a standard headphone jack, such as an iPod, Walkman, radio or CD player, and iZ will play your music with his horn flashing lights and his eyes bouncing. And he’ll act like a DJ, adding his own commentary to any song. DJ iZ is in the house!

The gadget–which comes in red, green and blue and is expected to cost about $40–will zizzle its way off the shelves at a Sept. 29 launch party at Toys ‘R Us Times Square.
