Gadget Screen Protector Resurrection
After long time of sketching my PDA, the screen protector becomes rough and there is some scratch mark appears on screen. For me, there is an option to protect the LCD screen besides a new screen protector replacement. Here, I’ll show my own ways on how to resurrect the dull gadget screen protector. Tools needed for the operations are white candle and tissue paper, check out the photos below.

Not forget to lube your stylus as well.

The waxing process makes my PDA screen protector as smooth as new, however its durability is depends on your usage and you may need to apply it once a month or more. I’m thinking of using Vaseline gel next time, because it is softer than candle wax and should be easier to apply and wipe away. If you have tried using Vaseline before, please share it to everyone by write down your comment below.

    Hi John,
    Thanks for this tip!
Nowadays my pocketpc is naked without any screen protector. I used to protect my pocketpc with screen protector and was willing to pay for the expensive screen protector. Then, I finally gave up and find that if I continue to do so, I would never got a chance to enjoy the best screen display. Pda life span is very short and if we sell it out, the one who buy it will enjoy the best screen instead - right? Nevertheless, I clean my pocketpc screen every morning to minimize dirt that scratch the screen.
